Hoover Branch Library Feasibility Study

The Hoover Branch Library Feasibility Study is a partnership between the City of Oakland, Oakland Public Library Services and the Friends of the Hoover Durant Public Library focused on a community-based process for the Hoover catchment area.

Together, we have conducted a two-year study to identify the primary concerns, goals, and priorities for Hoover residents and stakeholders.

blink!LAB architecture (link) presented design ideas for the future branch library on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the corner of Brockhurst & Market Street in Oakland.

This presentation reflected community input related to the Hoover Branch Library from Clawson, Hoover, McClymonds, and Longfellow residents.
